Pak Colony police eliminate 6-member Afghan gang involved in robberies & murders, 2 officers wounded.
In a high-intensity police encounter in Karachi’s Pak Colony, law enforcement killed six members of a notorious nine-member Afghan robbery gang. The group was involved in house robberies, street crimes, and assaults on citizens. Four of the deceased have been identified as Naqeebullah, Abdul Bari, Allah Dad, and Mohibullah, while authorities continue efforts to identify the remaining two.
The encounter occurred near Hasrat Mohani Colony, during which the gang opened fire on police, injuring Station Incharge Jan Sher and another officer in the arm. The gang was previously involved in the brutal killing of three brothers in Kemari Haroonabad on January 20, 2025, and in major house robbery incidents in Mauripur, seizing over PKR 1 crore, mobile phones, and gold jewelry.
Two other gang members, Wali and Hayat, had already been arrested by Pak Colony police. Following legal formalities at the scene, the bodies of the slain gang members were transported to Civil Hospital via Edhi Ambulance. Sindh Interior Minister and IG praised the swift police action, and investigations continue.
