New smart poles offer free mobile charging, Wi-Fi, and emergency assistance for citizens
Lahore Safe City Authority has launched an innovative initiative to enhance public safety and convenience by installing smart poles across the city. These poles provide free mobile phone charging, Wi-Fi, and emergency help systems, including panic buttons. Currently, 30 locations feature the charging poles, with plans to expand to 100 sites soon. This initiative ensures citizens have access to essential services in a safe and accessible environment, particularly during emergencies.
