Date:

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Web Desk: Saudi Arabia and 18 other countries have condemned Israel’s decision regarding the occupied West Bank, calling the move a serious violation of international law and a threat to regional stability.

The League of Arab States and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) also issued strong statements rejecting the decision. In a joint declaration, the countries warned that the measures are far-reaching and seek to classify Palestinian land as so-called Israeli state land.

The statement said the steps aim to accelerate illegal settlement expansion and strengthen Israeli administrative control over occupied territories.

The joint declaration was issued by Saudi Arabia, Brazil, France, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Egypt, Jordan, Luxembourg, Norway, Palestine, Portugal, Qatar, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Türkiye.
