116 Flights to Middle East Canceled From Karachi and Other Pakistani Airports

(Web Desk) – A total of 116 flights from Pakistan to Middle Eastern destinations, including the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar, were canceled on Monday as airlines continued to adjust operations amid regional security concerns.

Sources confirmed that 32 flights from Karachi airport scheduled for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Sharjah, Kuwait and Bahrain were suspended.

From Islamabad airport, 28 flights bound for Gulf destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait and Sharjah were canceled. At Lahore airport, 20 flights to similar destinations were also suspended.

Additional cancellations included 16 flights from Peshawar to Gulf cities, 10 flights from Multan and six flights from regional airports. In Faisalabad, four flights were canceled, while two flights from Quetta to Middle Eastern destinations were suspended.

Airline officials stated that operations are being reviewed on a day-to-day basis depending on security conditions and travel advisories. Passengers have been advised to contact airlines for updates and rebooking options.

The disruptions reflect broader uncertainties in regional air travel as carriers prioritize safety and operational adjustments.
