Washington / Tel Aviv – Web Desk: The United States reportedly developed a plan to target Hezbollah using Syrian Armed Forces, according to Israeli media reports.
Citing confidential Israeli intelligence cables, the reports said the US encouraged Damascus to deploy its forces into Lebanon, but the Syrian government reportedly declined to become involved in the conflict.
The same report emphasized that Iran’s military capabilities remain strong, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) considered highly capable and prepared to fight to the last.
Two officials from the United States Department of State reportedly confirmed the details of the Israeli intelligence documents.
The revelation highlights ongoing tensions in the region, as US, Israeli, Syrian, and Iranian forces navigate a complex web of military and political calculations.
