Abu Dhabi – Web Desk: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that it will seek further clarifications on the recently agreed US–Iran ceasefire, amid ongoing efforts to ensure regional stability.
According to the Ministry, the clarifications aim to prevent further Iranian attacks and curb any potential military action against Gulf countries. Officials emphasized that the ceasefire can only be effective if Iran clearly communicates its policies and planned actions.
The UAE stressed the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz fully open without conditions, citing its critical role in global trade and oil transportation. Any closure of this vital waterway could have serious economic repercussions worldwide.
UAE authorities also underlined the need for a firm stance against Iranian aggression, insisting that Iran must fully compensate for damages caused by its attacks on Gulf states. Analysts note that the UAE’s statement reflects the complex post-ceasefire diplomatic landscape, where multiple countries are actively safeguarding their strategic interests.
