Abu Dhabi, UAE – Web Desk: The United Arab Emirates has urged the international community to take immediate and decisive action against Iran to reopen the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz. UAE officials warn that any disruption in this key maritime route could significantly impact global energy supplies and trade.
UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber said Iran’s interference in the Strait is “unacceptable” and is placing severe pressure on the global economy. He emphasized that continued closure could drive up oil prices and disrupt the international supply chain.
Al Jaber called for action under the framework of United Nations resolutions to ensure international peace and stability while restoring safe passage through the Strait. Analysts note that the Strait of Hormuz is critical for global oil transportation, and any obstruction could have wide-ranging economic consequences worldwide.
