Abu Dhabi, UAE – Web Desk: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has condemned recent Iranian missile attacks and asserted its full right to respond. The UAE Ministry of Defense confirmed that the country was targeted by ballistic missiles, many of which were successfully intercepted by the nation’s air defense systems.
The strikes caused minor financial damage in a residential area of Abu Dhabi, and one Asian expatriate was killed. The Ministry strongly denounced the attacks, stating that targeting civilian areas, infrastructure, and national institutions is unacceptable and constitutes a dangerous escalation that threatens both public safety and regional stability.
The statement highlighted that the attack violates national sovereignty and international law, affirming that the UAE reserves the right to take all necessary measures to protect its territory. Authorities stressed that the country is fully prepared to respond to any threat.
Meanwhile, Bahrain also condemned missile attacks on its territory, labeling them an act of treachery. Bahraini officials confirmed that the strikes targeted sites that directly violate the kingdom’s sovereignty and security, underlining the broader regional tensions following Iran’s recent military actions.
