Two-Thirds of Americans Want Iran War Ended

Date:

Washington, D.C., United States – Web Desk: A majority of Americans support ending the ongoing conflict with Iran as soon as possible, according to a new survey conducted by Reuters in partnership with Ipsos.

The poll found that nearly two-thirds of respondents believe the United States should bring the war to an immediate end—even if its objectives have not been fully achieved.

Support for ending the conflict also extends across party lines, with around four in ten Republicans expressing the same view, reflecting growing war fatigue among the American public.

The findings come as Donald Trump has indicated that the United States could exit the conflict within two to three weeks. Trump has previously claimed that key objectives have been met and that a “regime change” in Iran has already occurred, though such claims remain unverified.

The survey underscores increasing domestic pressure on policymakers amid rising geopolitical tensions and ongoing debate over US involvement in the Middle East.
