Washington, United States – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that Iran was defeated in the recent conflict, while describing the United States military as the strongest fighting force in the world.
Speaking before departing for the NATO Summit in Ankara, Trump said relations with Iran were moving in a positive direction. During his remarks, he also praised the performance and capabilities of the US armed forces.
Trump further shared a social media post from the Israel Heritage Foundation and an Israeli minister, which praised him as one of Israel’s strongest allies. The post highlighted his role in matters related to Jerusalem, Iran, and the Abraham Accords.
Before leaving for Türkiye to attend the two-day NATO summit, Trump spoke to reporters and described Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as a friend and a respected leader. He said his visit was largely due to Erdogan’s invitation.
The NATO summit, which begins today in Ankara, is expected to focus on security concerns related to Russia, European defence, and regional conflicts. Several major defence agreements worth billions of dollars are also expected to be announced during the meeting.
