Shadman Town, Saddar Regal, and Sabzi Mandi blaze incidents; no casualties reported.
Karachi witnessed three separate fire incidents in a single day, affecting Shadman Town, Saddar Regal, and the Sabzi Mandi area. Fire brigade teams rushed to the scenes promptly, and fortunately, no casualties were reported.
In North Nazimabad near Sakhi Hassan, a fire erupted at a K-Electric substation, which was quickly brought under control. Meanwhile, in Saddar Regal’s Solar Market area, a fire broke out in a kitchen of a flat on the sixth floor of a seven-story residential building. Residents contained the blaze themselves, with assistance from the fire brigade, preventing major damage.
Another fire occurred at a shed in the New Sabzi Mandi area along the Super Highway industrial zone. Police, fire brigades, and rescue volunteers responded immediately, successfully controlling the blaze using fire tenders.
Fire officials confirmed that rapid response prevented any loss of life, though the cause and total financial damage are still under assessment. These incidents highlight the importance of quick emergency services and fire safety measures in Karachi’s densely populated and industrial areas.
