COLOMBO – Web Desk: Australia’s star all-rounder and T20 World Cup captain, Mitchell Marsh, has been ruled out of the opening match against Ireland due to an internal injury, Cricket Australia confirmed on Tuesday.
Marsh sustained the injury during a training session on Sunday while performing side-arm throw-downs at the R. Premadasa Stadium nets in Colombo. He immediately withdrew from practice and was advised to rest and undergo full recovery.
