LASBELA:Six people died and 17 injured in a collision between a passenger coach and a truck at Othal Zero Point in Lasbela District on Thursday.
According to rescue sources, the passenger coach was going from Panjgur to Karachi.
The accident was so severe that the passengers’ limbs were shattered all around the accident site.
Immediately after the accident, rescue teams left for the scene of the accident near Zero Point.
The dead and injured were shifted to a local hospital by ambulances from Winder and Hub.
Government of Balochistan expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in the passenger coach accident near Zero Point.
The Balochistan government spokesperson said the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals and medical assistance is being provided,
“We express our heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the affected families,” Government of Balochistan said.
Directions have been issued to the district administration to ensure immediate relief and assistance to the affected people.
An inquiry has been launched to find out the reasons for the accident.
