Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has offered a unique solution to Karachi traders facing extortion demands, stating that if anyone receives an extortion notice, they can hand it over to him, and he will personally pay the amount. Speaking at the My Karachi exhibition at the Expo Center, Tessori emphasized the city’s potential for growth, citing Lahore’s progress as motivation.
He also revealed discussions with philanthropists to provide 50 fire tenders for Karachi to improve disaster response. Highlighting the city’s contribution of PKR 250 billion to welfare organizations, Tessori stressed Karachi’s economic importance for Pakistan and committed to accelerating development projects.
Addressing security concerns, he warned that Indian-sponsored terrorists operating from Afghanistan posed no threat to Karachi, promising strong measures similar to May 10 responses. Tessori concluded by praising the cooperation between the Sindh government and Karachi Chamber of Commerce in supporting Gul Plaza fire victims and urged citizens to unite to make Karachi a city for all.
