Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: President Asif Ali Zardari has underscored the vital role of scouts in emergency situations and disaster management, calling their contributions indispensable for national resilience and community support.
In a statement, the president said the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association would continue to play a more effective role at the national and international levels. He praised the organisation for promoting discipline, leadership, and volunteerism among young people, particularly during natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
Zardari noted that scouts have historically assisted authorities during floods, earthquakes, and other emergencies, providing relief support and public awareness services. He stressed the need to further strengthen scouting institutions to build a responsible and prepared youth force capable of responding to future challenges.
The Pakistan Boy Scouts Association is part of the global scouting movement, which focuses on youth development, civic responsibility, and emergency preparedness.
