LAHORE: The Supreme Court Review Board has ordered the release of 33 foreign prisoners who completed their jail terms and directed the authorities to repatriate them to their respective countries
The prisoners were involved in crossing the border illegally and smuggling.
These foreign prisoners included 29 men and four women who were presented in the Supreme Court Lahore Registry.
The foreign prisoners belonged to India, Africa, Kenya, Bangladesh, and other countries.
The Supreme Court Review Board directed to provide best food and medical facilities to the foreign inmates.
Additional Home Secretary Prisoners and other officials were also present during the hearing.
