RIYADH – Web Desk: Saudi Aramco President and CEO Amin H. Nasser has stated that attacks by Yemen’s Houthi rebels have had no significant impact on the company’s oil production or operational capabilities, according to AFP.
Nasser told reporters that while Houthi forces attempted to target Aramco facilities in July, including along the Red Sea coast, the attacks did not affect overall production capacity. The company has implemented effective security and operational measures to protect its installations and ensure continuous oil supply.
Aramco recorded a roughly 44% increase in profits during the period, despite ongoing tensions and conflict in the region. Nasser described the results as evidence that Aramco has not only maintained energy production but also strengthened its position in global markets.
Experts say Aramco’s sustained production is seen as crucial for global energy market stability amid Middle East tensions. Analysts note that while security concerns persist, Aramco’s current performance reflects investor confidence and the strength of Saudi Arabia’s energy sector.
