Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its commitment to fully support Pakistan amid emergency oil supply requirements and ongoing regional challenges.
During a meeting with Federal Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Malki discussed regional developments and assured the security of oil supplies via the Red Sea port of Yanbu. A vessel carrying crude oil to Pakistan has also been scheduled for dispatch from Yanbu.
Minister Malik expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s continued support, emphasizing that most of Pakistan’s petroleum imports pass through the Strait of Hormuz, making Riyadh’s assistance crucial under current circumstances.
The Saudi Ambassador reiterated that in any emergency, full cooperation with Pakistan would continue, affirming that both nations stand united in times of trial.
