Saudi Arabia Marks 300 Years of First Saudi State with Celebrations

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Web Desk: Saudi Arabia has launched nationwide celebrations to mark Founding Day, commemorating 300 years since the establishment of the first Saudi state in 1744 by Imam Muhammad bin Saud.

Major cities, including the capital Riyadh, were illuminated in national colors as buildings and landmarks were decorated to reflect the Kingdom’s heritage and identity. Festive slogans echoed across public spaces as citizens marked the historic milestone with enthusiasm.

Cultural programs, traditional music performances, and public gatherings have been organized across the country to highlight Saudi Arabia’s rich history, heritage, and unity. Officials said the celebrations aim to strengthen national pride and awareness of the Kingdom’s historical roots.

Saudi Founding Day is observed annually to honor the origins of the Saudi state and its three-century-long journey toward modern nationhood.
