Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk: Balochistan National Party (BNP) Mengal chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal criticized the government for labeling him a traitor while ignoring those allegedly “breaking the country.” Speaking at the Asma Jahangir Conference in Lahore, Mengal said the 8 February elections and state actions have pushed Balochistan to a “point of no return.” He accused the government of creating artificial leadership in the province and failing to address public grievances. Mengal highlighted long-standing issues, stating despite raising proposals in the Supreme Court, Parliament, and seminars, his party faced political suppression while national integrity violators went unpunished. He warned that continued neglect of Balochistan’s political and social issues could escalate unrest.
