Registration of 33 Private Schools Cancelled in Karachi, Hyderabad

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Registration of 33 private schools has been cancelled for violating laws while fines slapped on 10 others in Karachi and Hyderabad for violating ruleson.

According to Education Department, procedural action against private educational institutions has been intensified across Sindh.

Registration of Gallant Foundation School Gulshan-e-Hadeed Phase II, Karachi, Metropolitan School Federal B Area Block 13 and Metropolitan School Federal B Area Block 20 has been suspended.

Schools provided free-board to students less than 10 percent quota and provided fee concession to most students.

Action taken in light of decision issued on October 19 on application No. 1592/2025.

Registration of 13 private schools in Karachi and 20 in Hyderabad has been cancelled.

Fines imposed on 10 schools for illegal increase in fees and other irregularities.

Many schools failed to implement provisions of Private Education Act.
