Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon reviews Red Line BRT progress; Phase 3 expected to finish soon
Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon conducted a detailed inspection of the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, reviewing ongoing development works across the city. Officials provided a comprehensive briefing on the project’s progress, highlighting that Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Red Line BRT are complete, while Phase 3 is expected to be finished soon.
Minister Memon confirmed that the Taj Haider Bridge has been completed and opened to the public, enhancing urban mobility in Karachi. He emphasized that all projects are aimed at boosting the city’s infrastructure and ensuring timely completion with high-quality standards.
The minister also highlighted that the Karachi Mayor is actively upgrading roads, and that repair and development works are being jointly executed by the Local Government Department and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) to provide maximum convenience to citizens.
