Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 has seen another team eliminated from the playoff race, with Quetta Gladiators officially knocked out following a crucial defeat.
The Gladiators were eliminated after losing an important match to Lahore Qalandars, ending their chances of progressing to the knockout stage. The team managed just three wins in nine matches, leaving their final group game as a formality.
Earlier, newly introduced franchise Rawalpindis had already been eliminated after a disappointing campaign under the leadership of Mohammad Rizwan, suffering eight consecutive defeats.
In the current standings, Peshawar Zalmi lead the table with 15 points, followed by Multan Sultans with 12 points. Islamabad United hold nine points, while Lahore Qalandars have eight points.
Meanwhile, Karachi Kings, Hyderabad Kingsmen, and Quetta Gladiators each sit on six points, occupying the lower half of the table.
With the playoff race intensifying, the remaining fixtures will determine the final lineup for the knockout stage of Pakistan’s premier T20 competition.
