Date:

Washington, United States – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has praised Pakistan’s leadership, describing the Prime Minister and Field Marshal as “outstanding personalities,” while expressing gratitude to Pakistan and regional allies for their role in recent developments.

In a statement shared on social media, President Trump said “today is a great day for the world” and thanked Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates for their support and cooperation.

He stated that the Strait of Hormuz has been fully reopened for maritime traffic, while adding that restrictions related to Iran would remain in place until a final agreement is completed. Trump said most elements of the deal had already been agreed upon and the process should be concluded quickly.

The US President also said Washington would secure Iran’s nuclear materials without any financial exchange, adding that the arrangement is not linked to Lebanon. He further stated that the United States would separately work on the situation in Lebanon and deal with Hezbollah “appropriately.”

Trump claimed that Israel would no longer carry out strikes on Lebanon, adding that the United States had intervened to halt further escalation.

He also commented on NATO, saying the alliance had asked for assistance, but he urged them to stay out of the situation, describing them as ineffective when needed.

According to Trump, Iran is currently working with US assistance to remove naval mines from key waters, while thanking Gulf allies for their support in regional stability efforts.
