President Asif Ali Zardari Approves Key Legal Bills, Including Ban on Plastic Book Covers

ISLAMABAD – Web Desk: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved several key legal bills and official summaries, according to a statement issued by the President’s House.

The President approved the Islamabad Capital Territory (Prohibition of Plastic Book Covers) Bill 2026, an environmental protection initiative presented by Senator Sherry Rehman. The President also approved the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill 2026.

Additionally, the President approved the Governor of Sindh’s leave for an overseas trip from May 21 to June 3, 2026.
