Poll-rigging row: ECP responds to Asad Qaiser’s allegations

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Elections Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday took notice of rigging allegations levelled against it Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser.

According to sources, the Election Commission has obtained the transcript of Asad Qaiser’s statement from PEMRA. After reviewing the transcript, the Election Commission will consider legal action.

It is pertinent to mention here that a contempt of the Chief Election Commissioner and the Commission case against the PTI founder is already pending in the Election Commission of Pakistan.
