Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Peshawar Zalmi delivered a dominant performance in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, defeating Lahore Qalandars by 76 runs at the National Stadium, Karachi.
Chasing a target of 174 runs, Lahore Qalandars were bowled out for just 97 runs in 17 overs. Abdullah Shafique and Fakhar Zaman top-scored with 21 runs each, while the rest of the batting lineup failed to build partnerships.
Earlier, Zalmi posted 173 for 7 in their 20 overs, powered by a strong innings from Kusal Mendis (74) and captain Babar Azam (43). Contributions from Michael Bracewell and Mohammad Haris helped set a competitive total.
For Lahore, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3 wickets while Mustafizur Rahman claimed 2, but the bowling effort was not enough to stop Zalmi’s commanding win.
