Pakistan’s ATC Court Issues Arrest Warrants for Aleema Khan in November 26 Protest Case

Date:

RAWALPINDI – The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has issued arrest warrants for Aleema Khan, sister of Prime Minister Imran Khan, in connection with the November 26 protest case registered at Sadiqabad Police Station.

Presiding Judge Amjad Ali Shah ordered that Aleema Khan be arrested and produced before the court on October 11, after she failed to appear for her scheduled indictment.

Six other accused in the same case appeared before the court and were formally charged. All pleaded not guilty. The court has now set October 11 as the date to frame charges against Aleema Khan.

The arrest warrants mark a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the protest, which has drawn national attention.
