Pakistan will not bow to any form of terrorism: Khawaja Asif

Date:

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Friday said that Pakistan will not bow to any form of terrorism. He said Pakistan has the strength and capacity to root out the menace of terrorism and will continue this fight to its conclusion.

Khawaja Asif said that India is waging a proxy war against Pakistan through Afghanistan. He said India wants to wipe away the shame it faced in recent clashes with Pakistan, and after repeated setbacks in war, it is now suffering international humiliation.

He said India is trying to “wash out” this embarrassment by supporting proxy terrorism to destabilize and discomfort Pakistan, but “they will face humiliation here as well.”

Khawaja Asif said Pakistan has achieved a major breakthrough as the international community is increasingly acknowledging Pakistan’s stance. Global forums are recognizing the professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces, which has strengthened Pakistan’s position globally.
