Pakistan to Join Gaza Peace Board Meeting in Washington

Islamabad, Pakistan — Web Desk: Pakistan has decided to participate in the first Gaza Peace Board meeting in Washington, scheduled for February 19, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expected to attend.

According to diplomatic sources, Pakistan has received a formal invitation to the high-level meeting chaired by the US President, which will review the Gaza ceasefire, humanitarian assistance, and long-term peace framework. A final decision on Pakistan’s official representation is expected in the coming days.

The gathering will also discuss Gaza reconstruction funding, with reports indicating the event may serve as a fundraising platform for rebuilding efforts. The meeting comes amid ongoing international diplomatic efforts to stabilize the region and promote sustainable peace.
