Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Vow Stronger Strategic Partnership

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with Mohammed bin Salman during a high-level meeting in Jeddah, as both countries seek to deepen economic, defense, and diplomatic cooperation.

In a statement shared on social media platform X, Sharif described his meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince as “productive and cordial,” highlighting the enduring and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The Pakistani premier expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s continued support for Islamabad’s peace initiatives in the region, particularly its role in facilitating dialogue amid rising Middle East tensions. He briefed the Saudi leadership on Pakistan’s recent diplomatic efforts, including its involvement in ceasefire and mediation initiatives.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of regional stability, economic collaboration, and security cooperation. They reiterated their shared commitment to advancing long-term strategic ties, underscoring growing cooperation in defense and regional peace efforts.

Officials said the meeting reflects a broader push to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance coordination on key geopolitical and economic challenges facing the region.
