Pakistan Offers to Host Iran–US Talks Amid Rising Tensions

Date:

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan has expressed readiness to host potential negotiations between Iran and the United States, signaling a willingness to play a mediatory role amid escalating regional tensions.

Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi said Islamabad is prepared to facilitate dialogue if both Tehran and Washington agree. He emphasized Pakistan’s consistent stance in supporting diplomatic solutions and de-escalation in the region.

However, Iran’s Foreign Ministry has denied any ongoing negotiations with the United States. Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump has claimed that recent contacts led to a proposed 15-point agreement, though no official details have been disclosed.

According to a British newspaper, Pakistan is positioning itself as a key diplomatic intermediary, with backchannel communications reportedly underway to ease tensions between Iran and the US.
