Islamic countries issue joint statement to join Trump-led Gaza Board of Peace initiative

Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar have jointly welcomed the invitation from US President Donald Trump to participate in the Gaza Board of Peace. Foreign ministers of these countries released a unified statement confirming their governments’ decisions to join the board in accordance with constitutional and legal procedures.

The joint statement emphasized full support for Trump’s peace-led initiatives, pledging complete cooperation in implementing the board’s mission. The Gaza Board of Peace will operate as an interim authority under the comprehensive plan to resolve the Gaza conflict, endorsed by UN Security Council Resolution 2803.

The mission aims to stabilize a permanent ceasefire, assist in Gaza’s reconstruction, and promote fair and sustainable peace based on Palestinian self-determination and the establishment of a sovereign state. Through these measures, the participating countries hope to pave the way for lasting peace, security, and stability in the region.
