Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has directed authorities to implement strict oversight across fuel supply chains to ensure uninterrupted availability of petroleum products and protect consumer interests.
According to a DPM Office news release, Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level meeting on petroleum, reviewing current fuel stock levels and expressing satisfaction over existing supply positions.
He instructed the Ministry of Petroleum and other relevant departments to closely monitor market dynamics, strengthen coordination mechanisms, and maintain stability in fuel supply across the country.
The meeting was attended by key officials including the Minister for Petroleum, Minister for Climate Change, Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Minister for IT & Telecommunication, as well as secretaries and senior representatives from relevant ministries and departments.
Officials emphasized that constant monitoring and timely interventions are crucial to prevent shortages and ensure smooth fuel distribution nationwide.
