Pakistan Congratulates Nepal on Successful Elections: Dar

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has extended warm congratulations to the people and leadership of Nepal on the successful conclusion of the country’s general elections.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on March 9, 2026, Dar highlighted Pakistan’s deep appreciation for its fraternal relations with Nepal and expressed eagerness to collaborate closely with his Nepalese counterpart and the newly formed government.

He underscored the importance of strengthening enduring friendship between the two nations and exploring fresh opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in diverse fields. Dar also emphasized joint efforts toward promoting regional peace, stability, and shared prosperity in South Asia.
