Tel Aviv, Israel – Web Desk: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing growing domestic and international pressure as concerns mount over the Gaza conflict, tensions with Iran, and the current ceasefire situation, according to Israeli media reports.
Recent polling suggests that around 58 percent of Israelis remain uncertain about the outcomes of the conflict with Iran and have expressed doubts over the effectiveness of the current ceasefire arrangements.
At the same time, approximately 79 percent of respondents reportedly support continued military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon, reflecting deep divisions in public opinion.
Political analysts say this contrasting sentiment presents a significant challenge for Netanyahu’s government, as public opinion remains split between support for ongoing military action and skepticism about ceasefire agreements.
International pressure is also increasing, with the United States, Canada, Germany, and other countries urging Israel to adhere to ceasefire commitments and avoid further escalation in the region.
Experts warn that the situation could become politically critical ahead of future elections, as Netanyahu’s leadership faces scrutiny both at home and abroad amid ongoing regional instability.
