At the Wagah and Ganda Singh border posts, daily flag-lowering ceremonies are being held in an atmosphere of national pride and enthusiasm. A large number of citizens, including families, youth, women, and elderly attendees from Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, and other cities, are attending these events regularly.
Pakistan Rangers Punjab personnel perform a highly disciplined and energetic parade, which is warmly received by spectators through applause and patriotic chants. National flags, slogans, and songs add to the emotionally charged atmosphere.
Participants expressed pride in the armed forces and national unity, stating that the commemorative events reflect solidarity and national resilience. Many visitors said the ceremonies strengthen their sense of patriotism and connection with the country’s defence institutions.
Officials and attendees noted a significant increase in public attendance since the beginning of the commemorations, highlighting growing national interest in border ceremonies and patriotic gatherings.
Border ceremonies continue on the Pakistani side with strong public participation and national spirit, while security protocols remain in place at the international boundary.
