Karachi Traffic Police: No Lifting of Motorcycles in No-Parking Zones

Date:

Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: The city’s traffic authorities have issued new guidelines regarding motorcycles parked in no-parking zones. DIG Traffic, Pir Muhammad Shah, has directed that traffic police should not lift motorcycles found in these areas.

Speaking to traffic officials, Shah instructed that any motorcycle parked improperly should instead be locked with a chain, photographed using Robo Car personnel, and issued a fine.

He further clarified that motorcycles without license plates must be seized until proper registration is attached, and reports of such cases must be submitted directly to his office.

These measures aim to streamline traffic management, ensure compliance, and maintain safety on Karachi roads without unnecessary vehicle removals.
