Israel Lifts Restrictions After Lebanon Ceasefire

Date:

Tel Aviv, Israel – Web Desk: Israel has announced the lifting of nationwide emergency restrictions following the implementation of ceasefires involving Lebanon and Iran, allowing daily life to gradually return to normal across the country.

According to international media reports, Israel’s Home Front Command confirmed that full social and economic activities have now been permitted nationwide. Schools, workplaces, and public gatherings are resuming regular operations after weeks of disruption.

However, precautionary measures remain in place in northern “frontline” areas near the border, where public gatherings are temporarily limited to 1,000 people. Authorities said these restrictions are expected to be lifted by the end of the week.

The restrictions had been imposed amid escalating tensions with Iran and cross-border threats from Hezbollah, including rocket and drone attacks, which forced the closure of schools and suspension of public activities.

Although some measures were eased in phases during the conflict, this marks the first time since the outbreak of hostilities on February 28 that restrictions have been fully lifted nationwide.

Officials say the easing reflects improved security conditions following ceasefire agreements, while authorities continue to monitor the situation closely.
