Ex-Election Advisor Israel Einhorn Faces Investigation Over “Blood Affair” and “Qatar Gate” Scandals
Israeli authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Israel Einhorn, a former close aide and election advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Einhorn, currently residing in Serbia, is under investigation for his alleged involvement in two major cases linked to the Prime Minister’s office, including the infamous “Blood Affair” where classified military documents were leaked to a German newspaper in September 2024.
Court documents reveal that Einhorn is on a list of individuals banned from contacting Netanyahu’s office, and Israeli police have confirmed the outstanding arrest warrant. Despite investigators questioning him in Serbia last year, Einhorn has not returned to Israel.
Einhorn is also implicated in the “Qatar Gate” scandal, where Netanyahu’s associates allegedly promoted Qatar’s positive image in Israel for political leverage. Two other aides involved in the “Blood Affair” have already been charged. The developments deal a significant blow to Netanyahu’s administration and highlight ongoing scrutiny over the Prime Minister’s inner circle.
