Israel Claims 70% of Iran’s Steel Production Destroyed in Strikes

Date:

Tel Aviv, Israel – Web Desk: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that recent Israeli strikes have destroyed approximately 70 percent of Iran’s steel production capacity, significantly undermining the country’s weapons manufacturing capabilities.

Steel is a strategically critical material used in industrial and military production, including missiles, drones, and naval vessels.

In a video statement, Netanyahu said, “Together with our U.S. allies, we are weakening Iran’s terrorist regime. We are targeting commanders, bombing bridges and critical infrastructure.”

The Israeli leader added that this achievement has deprived Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of both financial resources and the ability to manufacture a wide range of weapons, marking what he described as a major operational success.
