Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for a missile attack targeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office and the residence of Israeli Air Force Commander Tomer Bar.
According to a statement released by IRGC’s official news agency, Sepah News, the strikes were carried out using domestically produced Kheibar Shikan ballistic missiles. The status of Netanyahu remains unknown, with authorities promising further details at a later time.
The Kheibar Shikan missile, unveiled and test-launched in May 2023, reportedly has a range of 2,000 kilometers and can carry a 1,500-kilogram warhead, highlighting Tehran’s advancing missile capabilities. The announcement comes amid heightened tensions in the region following recent US and Israeli military actions in the Middle East.
