Tehran / Web Desk: On the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement highlighting the nation’s defensive strength, public awareness, and national unity in the face of external threats.
The statement described recent failed enemy conspiracies and military plans as proof of Iran’s robust defense capabilities and the resilience of the Iranian people. Over the past 47 years, according to the IRGC, adversaries have repeatedly attempted to undermine Iran through wars and terrorism, but all such efforts have been successfully thwarted.
Referring to past conflicts, including the 12-day war and acts of terrorism, the IRGC emphasized that enemy plans aimed to weaken and divide the country. However, Iran’s defense measures and public vigilance have consistently prevented any such schemes from succeeding, demonstrating the global powers’ inability to achieve their objectives.
The statement further accused foreign adversaries of seeking to return Iran to a state of subjugation, but stressed that the Iranian nation is fully aware of these plots, making such ambitions impossible. During recent regional tensions, Iran reportedly showcased strong military readiness and decisive responses to threats against national security.
Concluding the statement, the IRGC called on citizens to participate in nationwide rallies to celebrate the anniversary and send a clear message of national sovereignty, unity, and awareness to the world.
The Revolutionary Guard’s statement underscores the importance Tehran places on defensive preparedness and domestic solidarity amid ongoing geopolitical challenges, while reinforcing Iran’s stance against foreign interference.
