TEHRAN – Web Desk: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a stark warning to the United States, declaring that Iran will not tolerate any attack or threat against its security and sovereignty, according to a statement on X.
Araghchi stated that the US is attempting to test Iran’s resolve despite its own failures on the battlefield, but the Iranian nation and armed forces possess the capability to respond decisively to any aggression. Directly addressing the US, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that if America wants to remain safe, it should leave the Middle East region. “Our powerful forces will not remain silent to any attack, provocation, or threat,” he added.
Araghchi further noted that the history of the Persian Gulf bears witness that external powers and aggressors have always faced difficulties and failures in this region, with many instances of outside interventionist forces failing to achieve their objectives. The statement comes amid renewed tensions between Iran and the US, with analysts suggesting that Tehran views American actions as a threat to regional stability and is not prepared to compromise on its defensive position.
