Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei Reported Injured, Sources Confirm Safety

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Reports have emerged claiming that Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, sustained injuries amid ongoing conflicts. Iranian state television described him as a “wounded soldier of the Ramadan war,” though details of his injuries remain unclear.

In a Telegram post, President Ebrahim Raisi’s son, Yousef Pezeshkian, confirmed that Khamenei is safe and in good health after contacting close sources. Meanwhile, the New York Times cited three Iranian officials reporting that Khamenei suffered leg injuries but remains conscious at a highly secure location.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions in the region, and Iran’s leadership has been closely monitoring security developments. Officials continue to stress that Khamenei’s condition is stable, alleviating fears of a leadership crisis.
