ranian political adviser Brigadier General Rasoul Sanaei-Rad says Tehran will respond more forcefully if another conflict breaks out.

TEHRAN, IRAN — WEB DESK: Iran has warned that it would respond more forcefully and aggressively if another war breaks out, with a senior political adviser to the country’s Supreme Leader saying Tehran is prepared to adopt a stronger approach in any future conflict.

According to Iranian news agency Fars, Brigadier General Rasoul Sanaei-Rad, a political adviser in the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader, made the remarks while discussing Iran’s response during the recent conflict.

Iran vows stronger response

Sanaei-Rad said Iran had demonstrated resilience during the recent war and would respond with even greater strength if another conflict occurred.

He said Iran had remained steadfast during the latest war and would, if necessary, confront a future conflict in a stronger and more aggressive manner.

The remarks represent one of the latest warnings from an Iranian official amid continuing regional tensions.

Economic pressure accused of targeting Iranian unity

Although Sanaei-Rad did not directly name the United States in the remarks cited by Fars, he accused Iran’s “enemy” of attempting to create divisions inside Iranian society through economic pressure.

He said economic difficulties were being used in an effort to widen the gap between the Iranian public and the state and increase internal divisions.

According to the Iranian official, however, the strategy failed to achieve its intended objective.

Tehran signals tougher stance

Sanaei-Rad stressed that Iran maintained its resistance despite pressure during the recent conflict.

His comments suggest that Iranian authorities intend to maintain a tougher defensive and retaliatory posture should another military confrontation take place.

The warning comes as tensions involving Iran and its regional and international opponents remain high.

Regional tensions remain elevated

Iranian officials have repeatedly warned that any future military confrontation could trigger a significant response from Tehran.

The latest statement adds to those warnings, although it does not identify a specific planned military operation or indicate that another war is imminent.

For now, Sanaei-Rad’s comments primarily signal that Iran intends to strengthen its response capabilities and adopt a more aggressive posture if it faces another major conflict.
