Iran Threatens US Tech Firms, Banks in Israel and Gulf

Date:

TEHRAN, Iran – Web Desk : Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has warned that American technology companies and financial institutions operating in Israel and Gulf countries could become potential targets amid escalating regional tensions.

In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the move comes after a recent attack that reportedly targeted an Iranian bank, prompting Tehran to consider retaliatory measures against economic centers linked to the United States and Israel in the region.

According to the statement, actions by Iran’s adversaries have compelled the country to respond against economic infrastructure associated with its rivals.

The IRGC indicated that offices of major American technology companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Oracle, as well as financial institutions operating in Israel and Gulf states, could be considered potential targets.

The statement also warned Iranian citizens to avoid dealing with banks and financial institutions that have links with the United States or Israel.

The latest threat highlights rising tensions in the region as the conflict continues to expand beyond military targets and into economic and technological sectors.
