Iran Strikes UAE Gas Plant; 1 Dead, 4 Injured

Date:

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Web Desk: Iranian attacks on Gulf energy infrastructure continue as regional tensions escalate. A missile strike on a gas plant in the United Arab Emirates triggered a major fire, leaving one Egyptian national dead and four others injured, including two Pakistanis and two Egyptians.

Authorities reported that the missile was intercepted in the air, but falling debris ignited the blaze. Emergency crews brought the fire under control, and the injured were hospitalized in stable condition. Another report indicated up to 12 people were injured from falling debris at the site.

Similar attacks were reported in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. In Kuwait, air raid sirens sounded multiple times, and a fire at Al-Ahmadi refinery units took several hours to contain. Saudi forces claimed to intercept several missiles and drones mid-air, while Bahrain issued continuous air raid warnings throughout the day.

The repeated assaults have impacted nearly all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations to varying degrees, heightening regional security concerns and further escalating tensions across the Persian Gulf.
