Iran Releases Video Before Minaab School Strike

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian state television has aired what it described as the final video footage of several elementary schoolgirls killed in an airstrike in Minaab district, in southern Iran.

According to Iranian media, at least 168 students from Shajarat Tayyeba Elementary School were killed in what Tehran says was a U.S. strike, allegedly carried out with Israeli involvement. The attack reportedly occurred on Saturday while students were attending classes.

Local reports said the school had organized a religious gathering known as a “Mehdi banquet” prior to the incident. Iranian authorities described the strike as a “terror attack” targeting civilians.

Funeral prayers for the young victims have since been held, drawing thousands of mourners. Images broadcast on state media showed large crowds attending the ceremonies.

The United States has not immediately commented on the claims, and the details of the incident could not be independently verified. The development comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, with the conflict drawing international concern over civilian casualties and regional stability.
