Iran Publishes Names of 2,985 Protest Deaths

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: The Iranian presidential office has released the names of 2,985 individuals killed during last month’s nationwide protests. According to the official statement, the total deaths numbered 3,117, with 131 bodies still unidentified. Names have been published across various national newspapers. Human rights activists argue the list still omits several victims, claiming the actual death toll is much higher. Mahmoud Amiri-Moghaddam, director of the Oslo-based NGO, said the disclosure highlights a grave crime requiring international investigation.
